About Belbin
What is Belbin?
Developed by Dr Meredith Belbin in 1981, following nine years of study and has become the most accessible and widely used tool to support team building. The 9 team roles were designed to define and predict potential success of management teams, recognising that the highest performing teams have a diversity of characters and personality types.
The 9 Team roles are used to identify peoples behavioural strengths and weaknesses in the workplace. This means that wherever people are involved within an organisation, Belbin can provide the language to ensure that individuals and teams communicate and work together with greater understanding.
There is no good or bad role or a best fit, the tool simply measures how you behave at work, with your team and we find it invaluable way to start work with businesses, sporting teams and other organisations.
